I would like to know a few things about Gynecomastia.I think i have Gynecomastia. How to confirm whether its gynecomastia?I became 20 years old in September 2009.
Is there any reason to worry? Will it go away naturally ? Iam not exactly sure when this might have started, but i began noticing this when i was 16-17 years old.
If it does go away naturally...does it go away all of a sudden or does it go away slowly ? Are there any visible signs which can help us recognize when it starts reducing? What are the surgical options?Whats the cost ?

breast reduction

Dear Mr Richards,

I had breast reduction surgery a few years ago and although I was initially pleased with the results my breasts have now increased in size so much so that they are almost the same size as they were prior to the surgery - i have not put any weight on elsewhere on my body! Furthermore, one of the scars underneath is raised and painful and my left breast is at least 1 cup size bigger than my right. Is it possible to have the surgery performed again and is this a sensible option?

Kind Regards
Beth
Waht are the benefits of Dual Plane?

hi,

I've now had 3 consultations with different surgeons - and 3 different opinions.
2 said i should go behind the muscle
1 said i should go dual plane

2 said i should go 240 minimum (although they would prefer to put in bigger)
1 said i should go 280 minimum and that the sizers i'd been trying on to guide my decision were not really particuarly useful in coming up with an accurate size.

i had thought my ideal size was 180 - 200....

2 said i should go anatomical, 1 said that it wont make much difference in a smallish implant.

the one i thought seemed the 'best' and most knowledgable at consultation is the one who does alot of anatomicals - although he was quite patronising telling me i ought to be bigger than i want to be. (and he has some quite negative feedback on the net)

so my question is! what are the benefits of dual plane? does anatomical/round make much of a difference is a small implant/ how risky is the risk of rotation?

my stats are: 5 foot 9, 9 stone, rib cage 29, slim/skinny build 34a (not quite filling)

thank you.

pajama

Capsulectomy

Hi Adrian, and thank you for taking the time to consider this post. I had my BA on 4 June (235 and 250 overs) and am really happy with the results so far. The only thing which worries me is the possibility of developing CC in the future. I seem to remember my surgeon saying, in answer to my pre-op question, that if you are one of the unlucky 3% (or so) who do go on to develop it, it may not manifest itself for many months or even years. As a result I feel as if I have a time-bomb ticking over my head. In your experience, is there a general time-scale within which CC manifests itself, and is there therefore a time after which one can feel that it is unlikely to happen? Many thanks, Mareemy

Stretched Scars

My scars are healed and fading, however the scars around the upper half of my nipples appear to have stretched despite wearing a bra all the time for the first 6 weeks and except at night in bed after the initial 6 weeks. The upper scars are between 3mm to 4mm wide and are white/silver in colour whereas the lower half of the nipple scars are very thin white/silver lines.

I suppose I can live with the scars the way they are as I was expecting scarring with the uplift, but was wondering; Is this just the way my body has healed? Do you think the colour/pigmentation of the scars will fade/change anymore over time? Is there anything I can do to change the appearance of the scars?

Thanks for your advice.

Kayxx

Weight Loss surgery & abdominoplasty

Hi,
I was wondering if you do any weight loss surgery?
I have a BMI of 33 too low for a gastrc band, Since having my children this excess is mainly on my abdomen area. I cant even hold my tummy in it feels like I have no muscle strength there.
I stopped smoking3 yrs ago to be able to have a tummy tuck and even though my BMI was 27, I still had a huge amount of fat on my tummy area with no definition of a waist my tum,y had the same size as my hips. Stopping smoking has made me feel great but I have now gained weight! I have tried no end of diets and do go to the gym 3 times a wk. I am determined to have this done but I now need to lose the weight again. What do you suggest How low do I need to get to be able to have a tummy tuck? Would Liposuction be an option or do you think it would be too much?
I am currently 5' tall and 11 stone 11lbs
thanks very much
Anna

Fat transfer

Hi,
I had a lower bleph a few years ago at 30 when I just wanted to get rid of eyebags, and he went a bit overboard on the left eye and took something away from my face. There's a nasty scar going outwards for about half an inch, which is made more obvious, especially when the light hits it, as the area below it is slightly depressed. Fat has been taken from the area below the scar (past where any eyebag was) at the top of the cheekbone, which has changed the previously solid look of my cheekbone and the eye to cheek transition on that side. It's only slight, but to me it's very much changed something I was previously happy about in the look of my face and I notice the scar constantly, it being beside my eye. So I'm wondering if fat transfer would be the answer to filling that area back out, and if so whether this could be done without any scarring?

I'm also wondering what can be done about the above eye area that starts to sag. Due to my experience and what I've read of blephs, I don't want to have one as I think that would hollow the area, whereas the whole problem seems to be the hollowing in the first place. Surely it is mainly that the skin is no longer filled out? What I don't like is the dark line caused between the upper eyelid and below brow area by the collapse of the skin above. So I'm wondering if fat transfer could address this area by filling it out very slightly but all over from below the eyebrow downwards and filling out the skin.

Would these ideas be possible, and if so could they be done in one procedure?

Also, I'm thin with a high metabolism, and have read that fat transfer can be a disappointment as it burns off, but that repeated transfer can end up with a good result. How much of the result is left permanently (is there a percentage that's generally permanent?), and how many repeats can be necessary? Are fillers a better option, or perhaps at first to see if the results are what I'm thinking of, and if so, do you do these around the eye area?

Many thanks,
Eyebag

Surgery!

I have been considering having my breast enlarged for a few years now and would like to have them done but also lipo on my stomach and my lips enhanced at the same time, would it be possible to have this all done at once? Also with my breasts i can't have scars from the implants because my boyfriend is insistant there aren't any that are massively visable. Do Aurora insert them through the armpit as i know you can have them done this way. I have a friend who has implants but her scars are more like battle wounds and it doesn't look pleasent at all.

Many thanks
