Hi All

I am very interested in having Macrolane and found this site through a search engine.  I have read up on the procedure and listened to the podcast but ideally would like to hear from anyone who has had Macrolane with Aurora Clinics to post their experience on this site so I can feel more at ease before I go ahead and book a consultation.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi puppies

My friend had macrolane injections at Princes Risbough by Grant Hamlet.  He specialises in macrolane and did it cheap because he was showing other doctors how to do it.  She loves them although they were a bit sore at first.

Good luck if you do go ahead ali

Thanks Alib - will read up on this doctor and then decided if I wish to proceed.

Do you know how much your friend paid for this procedure?

Thanks

I think she paid £10000- normally £2000 so a bit of a bargain and Grant Hamlet is a supposed to be a top doctor for macrolane.

hi
I am interested in having macrolane breast enlargements.
What I want to know is - can you breast feed after you have had this procedure? I would like to breast feed if I have any more children.
does anyone know how to find out?

Hi Annie Rose

Yes you can breast feed after both Macrolane and breast augmentation procedures.  In both cases the breast glands and ducts are not affected and will work fine.

Hi Everyone,

Just joined and thought I would throw out a few questions about this Boob Jab? Have been thinking about it for a while. I just wanted to know whether there were any side effects to this procedure? I listened to the podcast but of course I know everyone is different?

I have never done anything like this before, so just wanted to get a better picture I guess before I take the plunge or waste my time!
Also, my boobs aren't really small, they are a c/d cup, I just need them evening out more and making them more pert- so would this still be a useful procedure -do you think? Or is this wonder Jab only for the smaller lady? (I hope not!)

Any feedback would be really appreciated!!

Thanks!

Hi,
I've just had Macrolane injections 3 weeks ago at the Aurora Clinic, Princes Risborough.  I couldn't be more delighted with the results!  First I had a consultation with Adrian Richards, Consultant Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon.  He was excellent, explaining the whole procedure to me, and putting me at my ease.  I felt completely confident and couldn't wait to get booked in.  The procedure was carried out by Dr Grant Hamlet, who was fantastic.  I was amazed at the immediate results, which gave me a full cup size and cleavage for the first time in my life!  There was only a little discomfort when the anaesthetic went in, but nothing like I had anticipated, almost pain free.  I couldn't believe I even managed to go shopping on my way home from the treatment...  The following 2 days I felt a bit uncomfortable, but was able to carry on pretty much as normal.  For the first 2 weeks they did feel quite hard, but now look and feel completely natural, which is just amazing and exactly what I wanted.  I couldn't speak more highly of the staff who were so warm and friendly.  I am so pleased I found the Aurora Clinic and would highly recommend Grant Hamlet for Macrolane.

Hi
I have booked in to have Macrolane next month, but reading articles posted on the web I am now dubious about the longivity of the product.
Some women are stating that after only 4 months their breasts have shrunk to their pre-Macrolane size!!!! Others have stated that one breast depleted after 4 months whilst the other was fine.
HAs anyone else had the same experience???
